Holland is home to a diverse range of national and international events. Festivals in Holland are seen as the most accessible in all of Europe. As most events are close to or in Amsterdam, it’s easy to combine a festival in one of Holland’s favourite cities with a trip to another European cultural destination.

The variety and quality of festivals in Holland are amongst the best in Europe. Some excellent examples are the renowned North Sea Jazz Festival and Holland’s oldest and largest international performing arts festival, Holland Festival.

Some other exceptional examples are the extraordinary opera performances at surprising locations in the city of Rotterdam during the Opera Days, the annual Museum Nights - a perfect chance to explore a wide range of memorable museums at night - and travelling fun-factor theatre festival De Parade during the summer.
